Greensboro, NC - Serving up the fresh catch since 1953, Libby Hill Seafood has been a staple in Guilford County.

Luke and Elizabeth Conrad opened the first store at the corner of highway 220 North and New Garden Road.  To date they have ten stores in the triad and southern Virginia, employing more than 500.

The Conrad family still runs Libby Hill, currently in its third generation.  President Justin Conrad says pricing has been a key to the companies success, "I'd challenge anybody to go to a grocery store and prepare specifically seafood for the prices we can offer a whole family, and I think that has helped us a little bit in the downturn."

Another key to keeping the brand strong is catering to two populations the Senior Citizens and the kids.  "As a parent of young kids myself we recognize that it is expensive some times to take kids out to eat, so we make that experience both enjoyable and affordable", Conrad says.
