Greensboro, NC -- The Unitarian Universalist Church of Greensboro held a "Standing on the Side of Love" Vigil in support of the equal treatment of immigrants and to protest Arizona's immigration law.

The group gathered in the rain to pray for the state of Arizona and the rights of immigrants across the country.

"We think we really need some immigration reform. This country really can and should do better by people who want to be one of us," said church member Steve Pearsell.

There are strong feelings on both sides of the immigration issue. One man showed up to protest the vigil.

Rick Kohn says he wants a border patrol fence, "we wanted a fence built and ah, they didn't do it, so I would like to have a fence that they talked about built."
