King, NC -- City leaders in King have released their final plan for flags in the Veteran's Memorial Park.

The memorial has eleven flag poles.  One of the poles will fly flags representing the veteran's faiths.  Those flags will be changed out on a weekly basis.

As part of the new plan, any King resident can submit an application and request to fly a flag respresenting a veteran's faith.   While that flag is flying, a temporary sign will display the veteran's name, rank and other information.

The city will designate a veteran's group, community group, or city employee to administer the policy.
