Greensboro, NC -- Without you, 2010 could have been much worse for families hit hard by the job market.

With your help, people with real needs put food in their pantry, got life-saving blood, or pens and paper for their children.

We received 190,000 pounds of food during our Food 2 Families campaigns.

Thanks to you, dozens of homeless pets now have a home.

With puppy mill investigations overcrowding our animal shelters, you called during our 2 The Rescue specials to help.

And when kids faced the first day of school without school supplies, during "Tools For School," you kept the donations coming.

Drivers young and old partnered with our "Great Hang-up" campaign, promising not to use their cell phones while driving.

We were so committed to proving the dangers of distracted driving, we gave you the chance to text behind the wheel, and you accepted our invitation.

A force of 4,000 joined the American Heart Association for this year's heart and stroke walk.

It raised $375,000 for heart disease research. Our goal was $500.

Then there was the "Stuff the Stocking" campaign. Stockings packed with toys and games by the thousands went to children who otherwise would have nothing for Christmas.
