High Point, NC -- The quiet family evening was interrupted by a flaming mass of metal screaming into their living room.

"My eldest son saw the couch, which was in the living room, flip over. My daughter saw the wall ripping off by what we know it is a plane," said Sochan Rumthao, the homeowner and father of three.

Rumthao didn't know what to do.

His three kids scattered to find safety into arms of a stranger. An answer to a prayer just three days old.

"I said Lord let me go meet this family... and now they're living in my house."

MaryJo Rumbraugh gave half a floor in her home to a displaced dad and his three kids ages 12, 10 and 8-years-old.

That answered prayer was just one of a string of blessings born out of disaster.

Sochan said, "My eldest son stays every day on that window. The day before he played his computer on that table. Where it exactly comes on that part."

His son works in that now-destroyed living room every day around the time of day the crash happened. Only on that day, did his son move to another room.

And Sochan wonders if God warned him this would happen.

"I told my wife I love this house, but what thing was I'm afraid and concerned that a plane will hit this house. And that was in 2009 April. And my wife laughed at me. But God prepared me for this event. That's what I realized yesterday."
