Greensboro, NC -- Sometimes you can see it coming, sometimes it sneaks up on you. Either way, when a tantrum strikes, it can be hard for even the most patient parents to deal with.

Dr. Nannette Funderburk with the Social and Emotional Learning Group in Greensboro stopped by the Good Morning Show Friday to talk about tantrum red flags.

Dr. Funderburk told us these are signs your child could have anger problems:

  • Outbursts for no reason
  • Clenched teeth, rolling eyes
  • Tensed body, low growl

Dr. Funderburk said in the case of a tantrum, parents should remain calm and teach their child calming tactics. Also, parents should set their rules to be consistent.
