Greensboro, N.C. -- Andrew Young wrapping up his testimony for the prosecution Wednesday morning.
Young told the jury Edwards' close friend said hiding Edwards' mistress, Rielle Hunter, was the most important job in the campaign.
But, Young says Edwards eventually started to ignore him and stopped returning his calls...even as he cared for Hunter and the baby.
As a result, Young became frustrated and had several arguments with Edwards that eventually led to the end of their friendship.
When Edwards' attorneys got the opportunity to question Young, Young seemed to answer many questions by saying, "I don't recall." Then, attorneys would produce a document or transcript that included Young's words. Even after seeing those transcripts, Young would often still say he couldn't recall saying certain words or phrases.
Edwards' attorney repeatedly accused Young of being a liar and someone who was simply trying to take advantage of Edwards.
At one point Edwards' attorney said, "You really hate him, don't you?"
Young paused for a moment and said, "I have mixed feelings."
Later, Edwards' attorneys mentioned the Young family referred to John Edwards' late wife, Elizabeth, as "Ursula." Ursula is a villain from Disney's "The Little Mermaid."
