Asheville, NC -- Evangelist Billy Graham is resting comfortably at Mission Hospital where he is being treated for a bronchitis infection.
Doctors say he will spend the night in the hospital.
Graham was taken to the hospital overnight for treatment of a pulmonary infection thought to be bronchitis.
He was alert and in good spirits when he was admitted, according to a news release. Graham's pulmonologist, David Pucci, DO, said the evangelist is resting comfortably and in good condition.
This morning, he watched his grandson, Will Graham, preach on television at First Baptist Church in Spartanburg, SC. Later, his daughter, Gigi, and one of his grandchildren visited and ate lunch with the evangelist.
Graham was in the hospital in November 2011 for a successful pneumonia treatment.
The 93-year-old has remained in good overall health the past year, according to the hospital. He is also still heavily involved in the ministry and writing projects.
No date has been set for his release from the hospital, but Graham says he looks forward to returning home to his family.
