Greensboro, NC - It's been a long and a confusing 24-hours for the residents of Cascades Grandview Apartments.
There was no power for several hours. Then they were evacuated in the middle of the night.
"The hallway you have to go down is completely dark. You can tell when to stop or when you are at your door," said Elaine Rowell, Cascade Resident.
On Thursday, they were given an hour to retrieve belongings before getting out again. And then the power came on again...
"This stinks a lot...I'm very disappointed," said Arielle Sidberry, a 4th floor resident.
"This is overwhelming...overwhelming," said Rowell.
Some residents told News 2's Tony Smith, they want to move but can't.
"I would like to find another place to go because it's been one thing after another," said Tawan Norman.
Lynne burke said, "We are moving out today. I'm not going to give these people a chance to burn us again."
For the residents, who don't have another place to live. They told News 2, they're worried about the next problem that might come up.
