Greensboro - A new study out holds good news for job seekers in the Triad; Greensboro is ranked second out of 100 metropolitan areas for job growth this fall.
The study was done by Manpower Group and surveyed more than 18,000 employers in 100 metropolitan areas around the country.
The San Jose metro area was ranked first, and Greensboro-High Point was tied for second place with Cape Coral-Fort Myers, Florida.
It was not a surprise that San Jose ranked so highly as it is the Silicon Valley and home to employers like Apple and Google, technology companies that have done very well even in the middle of the recession.
Major employers in the Triad surveyed included Bank of America, Honda Aircraft Company, Lincoln Financial and Ralph Lauren.
