Police Arrest Pair In Expensive iPad Theft

Boone, NC -- Police arrested a couple Friday in relation to Apple iPad thefts at a Boone Wal-Mart.

In all, the couple stole $10,000 in iPads from the Wal-Mart.

Officers got a tip that the two were seen walking in another Wal-Mart in Norton, VA, Friday. Police found the two and arrested the woman, Kaitlin Elizabeth Jensen, immediately.

The man, Brian Oniel Jensen, led police on a short foot chase before officers arrested him and found a gun in his waistband.

The Jensens are being held at a Norton jail on several weapons and drug charges, along with charges here in North Carolina.

The two will be brought back to North Carolina for trial.
