Greensboro, NC - Friday, Ange'le Simpson told News 2 she needed more than 300 toys for children in the Triad.
She is a volunteer with Fruit of the Spirit Ministries and was coordinating a gift giving drive with a local non-profit group.
Simpson says she requested toys for more than 400 a few months ago, but Friday, just three days before Christmas, she found out she wouldn't receive all the toys she needed.

Saturday, Simpson says she received hundreds of donations and now has several hundred toys to give.
"That's the whole theme for today was its about blessing the children and they were blessed today above and beyond and I just want to say thank you to each and everybody who came and brought something because it was really a blessing today. More than I ever expected," said Simpson.
Simpson says the parents were only promised one toy when they initially registered for the gift-giveaway but Saturday, they each got a bag full of toys.
Saturday night at 11, we'll meet one of the parents who now has presents for their child.
