Greensboro, NC -- According to The Business Journal, P&G is considering expanding to Greensboro, bringing 200 new jobs by 2015.

The Business Journal found reasons why the expansion to Greensboro would make sense.

There is already a P&G plant located in Browns Summit with 650 employees. Brands like Crest and Old Spice are made on the Bryan Park Road location. The plant is efficient and benefits from the recruits out of NC A&T State University and Guilford Technical Community College.

The Browns Summit location is convenient, being close to the airport.

There's also a large distribution operation at the plant, handling shipments from huge customers such as Walmart.

P&G officials have not talked about the possible expansion, however Greensboro and Guilford County officials are looking into $2 million incentive proposals.
