Boston, MA - Roger Halchin of Mebane had just finished the Boston Marathon and was in the medical tent when he heard the explosions.
The experienced runner was being treated for low blood pressure following the grueling race, and as he left the tent, decided to walk away from the finish line rather than towards it.
It's a decision that may have prevented him from being injured, as the bombs went off shortly thereafter.
He spoke with the Good Morning Show on Tuesday morning about his experience.
