Burlington, NC -- Police are looking for a man who tried to steal money and food from a Burlington McDonald's Saturday morning.

Employees told police a white male, wearing a blue hat, black shirt and camouflage shorts, came into the restaurant on N. Church St. around 1 a.m. and placed an order for food. When the man's debit card didn't work, he told employees he had a gun in his waistband and wanted food, as well as money from the cash register.

The man never showed the weapon, and no one was injured in the incident, according to a news release.
