SALISBURY, N.C. -- Investigators from local agencies and the FBI searched a Salisbury home for about 12 hours as they continue to look for a missing 15-year-old girl.
WBTV reported that officers began their search around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. The Rowan County Sheriff's Office said it was completed by 11 p.m.
Evidence gathered from the home will be sent to the FBI Laboratory; it is unclear when the results from the analysis will be available.
The sheriff's office said the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children is producing a photo of Erica Parsons to show what she might look like at the present time. The most recent photo deputies have of Erica is from when she was 13 years old, the time when she was last seen.

Erica was last seen by a step-brother in November 2011, according to the sheriff's office. Investigators said when he asked his parents about Erica's location, they told him she went to stay with other family members in Asheville.
Erica's step-brother reported that she was missing July 30, 2013. Her adoptive parents said they didn't file a report because they didn't consider her missing.
