GREENSBORO, NC -- You're sure to get new electronics throughout the year. So, where can you go to e-cycle the old ones?

Many manufacturers and retailers will e-cycle your electronics. Check out theEPA's website for information.

There are e-cycling drop off locations all around the state. E-cycling Central gives a list by zip code for the entire nation.  

Guilford County:

Guilford County Scrap Tire & White Goods Recycling Center - 2138 Bishop Road, Greensboro - (336) 294-9431. This location is currently open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Guilford County Sheriff's Prison Farm - 7315 Howerton Road, Gibsonville - (336) 641-2630. This location is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. seven days a week.

Forsyth County:

 Forsyth County residents can drop off household hazardous waste and electronics, free of charge, at 3RC-The EnviroStation located at 1401 South Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive in Winston-Salem (across from Bowman Gray Stadium). Materials accepted include paint, pesticides, automotive fluids, car batteries, televisions, computers and computer accessories.
