GREENSBORO, N.C. -- High pressure will build over New England. An upper-level disturbance will track across the area on Friday. A cold front will approach and move through the Piedmont Saturday night.
Clouds will increase Thursday afternoon with a high of 49. Tonight, rain and drizzle will develop after midnight. There could be some mixed freezing rain especially along the Virginia boarder and areas west of Winston-Salem. The overnight low will be 32.
On Friday, as the upper-level disturbance moves through, we will see a cloudy, chilly day with a 40 percent chance of light rain or drizzle. Friday's high temperature will be 41. Friday night will be cloud with spotty light rain and drizzle and a low near 40.
With the approach of the cold front, rain is likely Saturday and Saturday night. The high Saturday will be 58 and the low Saturday night will be 44. Sunday will be dry with a partly sunny sky and a high of 58.
