NORMAN, Okla. -- The University of Oklahoma reports there is no evidence of shots fired on campus and no reported injuries after the school reported a shooting Wednesday afternoon.
The school tweeted a little after 1:00 p.m., "Normal campus operations have resumed except for Gould Hall where additional checking is continuing."
At about 12:30 p.m., the school tweeted "Shooting on campus. Avoid Gould Hall. Seek immediate shelter in place." The school also reported the shooting on its website.
CNN reports local police and law enforcement are on the scene and a text alert was sent to students and faculty.
