The Greensboro Police Department is looking to crack down on dangerous driving on one of the city's major artery. The department began a traffic enforcement campaign on Wendover Avenue Tuesday morning. Police will monitor drivers from Penry Road to Bridford Parkway, it's an 11-mile perimeter. Police say the goal is to prevent wrecks, protect drivers and passengers traveling on Greensboro roadways. Police will crack down on speeding, drivers and passengers not wearing seat belts, texting and driving, and other traffic violations over the next year.
